External Rendering for Brickwork by JPS Coatings

JPS Coatings is known for their top-of-the-line rendering products and cladding systems. Ezi-Build, one of the products within their Dry Mix render range, is the ideal choice for external rendering for brickwork and other masonry substrates.
Ezi-Build provides structures with resistance to all types of weather conditions with its industrial-strength adhesion. The cement-based polymer is composed of lightweight insulating elements and has been positively received by many experts in the industry for levelling walls and building up brick and block work.
Ezi-Build enhances the overall structural integrity of residential, commercial and industrial infrastructures, ensuring that these are well insulated and protected from the natural elements like rain, wind, frost and sunlight.
How to Use Ezi-Build for External Rendering for Brickwork
JPS Coatings formulated Ezi-Build using only premium-grade constituents to guarantee easy application and high performance. External rendering for brickwork using Ezi-Build can be done in four steps:

1. Preparing the surface for external rendering is mandatory. The applicator must ensure that the brickwork is free from all powdery residue and contaminants like dirt, dust, grease, mould, oil, efflorescence, and scaling laitance. Existing render should be scraped away to reveal a fresh, workable substrate.
2. Each 15kg bag of Ezi-Build should be mixed with 4 litres of water in a clean and dry bucket. It should be thoroughly stirred with a power stirrer or the like. Depending on the ambient temperature, the amount of water may be adjusted to achieve the desired consistency. Avoid adding excessive amounts of water as this may lead to surface crazing, cracking, and delaminating of the finished render.
3. When the mix is ready, a hawk and trowel can be used to apply a single layer of Ezi-Build to the brick surface in an upward motion. The product can be built up to 20mm in a single coating without soft corners, and shrinkage cracks unlike using traditional sand and cement render.
4. Ezi-Build external render cures in about 2-4 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. When temperatures are lower or relative humidity is higher, the drying time will be longer. JPS Coatings' Fastwall can be overcoated after seven days to achieve the highest-quality finish.
JPS Coatings have always reinforced their world-class products with trusted customer support. In order to guarantee customer satisfaction and rewarding partnerships with clients, JPS Coatings is open to inquiries and suggestions from potential clients.
