How to Apply Evolving Elements Anti-Mould Plus+ Mould Prevention Paint?

Evolving Elements Anti-Mould Plus+ mould prevention paint is a part of JPS Coatings' roof coating system for unglazed terracotta tiles, concrete tiles, Colorbond®, and fibre cement roofs. The product contains an advanced paint technology for a long-lasting, baked-on paint finish that resists cracking, chipping and peeling.

Below is a summary of the application process of Evolving Elements Anti-Mould Plus+ Mould Prevention Paint:

1. Disconnect all rainwater tanks from the guttering system before starting with the project. It must also remain disconnected until after the application of all coatings and residues have been washed from the guttering.

2. Cover and protect areas that will not be coated. Also, ensure that all working surfaces are clean, free from dust, dirt, grease, oil, animal droppings, loose and flaky materials that might hinder adhesion.

3. Thoroughly mix the Anti-Mould Plus+ solution using a broad and flat stirrer without thinning out its ready to use form.

4. The mould prevention paint can be applied with a roller, brush, pad, high volume low pressure (HVLP) spray equipment or airless spray equipment. JPS Coatings recommends a 15 thou tip and white gun filter when using airless spray equipment.

5. Apply sufficient amounts of Evolving Elements Anti-Mould Plus+ to thoroughly wet the surface.

6. Apply Evolving Elements Anti-Mould Plus+ with the appropriate components selected from the Evolving Elements range for roof restoration projects.
