For a colour application, Tex-Guard can be machine tinted to any colour including a dark colour range. Using a thinner is not recommended for this material and thinning with water is unnecessary.

Tex-Guard comes in a 15-litre plastic pail packaging and does not require any special transport requirement. Each pail can has a spread rate of approximately 3m2 per litre. It can be applied using a roller, brush or spray, and takes a minimum of 2 hours at 25°. At 50% relative humidity drying could take longer for lower temperatures or higher relative humidity. It should be applied on dry, clean, and even textured surface. Surfaces must be clean of contaminants such as oil, mould discharge, animal droppings, dust, dirt, silicone, mud, grease, salt, efflorescence and wall flaking. Textured areas should be left to dry for 2 days or more depending on the weather before application.

Tex-Guard is a safe material to use, but it is still required to maintain safety measures in material handling. It's highly advised to wear protective eyewear, mask and footwear.
