Brightgreen releases D900 Curve v1.5: better, brighter, more efficient

Melbourne based premium LED lighting designers Brightgreen have improved the energy efficiency, brightness and light quality of their flagship downlight with the launch of the D900 Curve version 1.5.

This enhanced product builds on the world first innovations of the 2010 original - the first to match the brightness of a premium 50W halogen - to make interiors look brighter and more vibrant while reducing electricity bills even further.

The new benefits of the D900 Curve v1.5 include:

Greater energy efficiency, reducing its operating power from 16 to 15.5 watts
Increased efficacy (ability to convert power into light), increased from 56 to 61 lumens per watt
Brightness that exceeds that of a premium 50W halogen, increasing the lumen count from 903 to 950 lumens
Light quality comparable to sunlight, enhancing the CRI (Colour Rendering Index) from 90 to 95

The D900 Curve v1.5 still retains the signature qualities of its predecessor, with a long lifetime of 70,000 hours protected by in-built thermal monitoring.

Like the original, the D900 Curve v1.5 is exported to Germany, once again a testament to the quality of its product engineering and design.
