Expol Underfloor Insulation from Foamex is one of the most cost effective ways to insulate against weather extremes. The expanded polystyrene panels are placed snugly between the floor joists to create a thermal barrier and to stop heat escaping in winter and entering in summer. Perfect for retro-fitting to existing homes, pole homes and as insulation for new homes, the flexi-cut edges of the Expol insulation panels allow for adjustments if there are varying floor joist spacings. Expol panels conform to the minimum R-value of 1.4 for timber floors of AS/NZS 4859.1:2002. Safe to install, non-allergenic, flame retardant and long-lasting, the thermal performance of Expol Underfloor Insulation is not affected by ageing, is moisture resistant and contains no CFCs.
